What is Index?
The National Council INDEX, along with its 18 associations, represents the productive interests of the Maquiladora (also known as Twin Plants) and Export Manufacturing Industry, continually seeking greater opportunities for the country’s growth.
We stand as Mexico’s most socially engaged industry because we create opportunities for more Mexicans to enter the world of manufacturing and exporting, all while maintaining social balance and spurring national and regional development.
INDEX National is advocating for an industrial policy that extends to more sectors and encompasses all those with an exportable focus. In this context, Twin Plant (IMMEX) companies are emerging as a pivotal player due to the escalating importance of global value chains
